FOODIE | MUSIC ENTHUSIAST | BERET LOVER &
MOST IMPORTANTLY VISUAL STORYTELLER !!

It all started with my Barbie camera when I was 3 years old. I was always the kid taking pictures. Growing up surrounded by my family, filming and photographing, and being able to look back at so many meaningful memories. A single moment something you can return to years later and suddenly feel everything again, warms my heart.

I'm Kai, a London based visual artist and storyteller, working under the name Kaiimages.

Kaiimages comes from Kai imagines a play on my name and a reflection of how I see my creative practice. It's not just about the images I capture it's about the images I see, the ideas I imagine and the things I want to bring into the world.

Photography is where it began, but my practice has since grown beyond. I work across photography, digital art, mixed media, moving image, writing+poetry and creative experiences.

Sometimes that means capturing images. Sometimes it's a card, a print, a workshop, a project or simply an idea that needs somewhere to live.

At the heart of it all. It's about storytelling for me: the people, places, feelings, culture and everyday moments.
